Overview

- Released October 14, 2022, through Warner Records as a double LP and single CD
- Produced by Rick Rubin
- Seventeen tracks on the album
- Released only 5 months after Unlimited Love, the shortest gap between two albums by the band to date
Background
- Recorded during the same sessions as Unlimited Love
- The sessions marked the return of guitarist John Frusciante after a ten-year absence
- Recording engineer: Ryan Hewitt

Recording
- Frusciante recorded multiple keyboard and synthesiser overdubs during the sessions
- Frusciante and Chad Smith discussed electronic breakbeats, which Smith incorporated into his playing
- The drumbeat for "Peace and Love" was inspired by a breakbeat from the Isaac Hayes song "Breakthrough"
- The title represents creative prosperity to vocalist Anthony Kiedis
Cover
- Artwork created by French artists Thami Nabil and Julien Calemard
- The pair had earlier made a music video for "Poster Child" from Unlimited Love
- They were discovered by the band's visual creative director and Frusciante's wife, Marcia Pinna
